New Business

Roads: 2013 Grant for road base has been cancelled due to flooding that took place throughout the county in September. There are no trucks or available road base at this time. A permit has been resubmitted, and we are on the list to receive road base from the next allocation. Though a request was sent out to all home & landowners to apply for FEMA assistance before the deadline, very few applications were submitted. At this it is up to the residents to maintain the roads along their section. The rains caused quite a bit of damage which will worsen with the spring rains. In order for improvements to be made it is imperative that residents contribute to the emergency/road funds!

Old Business

Information Kiosk: Fire Chief, Kelly Babeon, confirmed the parts for this project have been ordered. The board will request volunteers to assemble & install the kiosk at the firehouse once all of the parts are in. This project is still in progress.

Volunteer Fire Fighters: The district still needs additional volunteers. You can qualify with 50 hours of training per year. Having the firehouse is what helps classify us as category 9 and lowers the cost of homeowners insurance. Please consider volunteering.
