Dave’s Update: Dave has been calling real estate agents to inform them that the Home Owner’s Association is not a voluntary HOA, as they had written it in the for sale brochures. A real estate agent has requested past minutes, financial statements, regulations, declarations, and budgets to be available online. Curtis is currently working on uploading these requests.

Wildfire: Dave has submitted a grant for grading Bald Mountain Road.

Roads: The county has 2567 tons of road base to be distributed though out the county beginning in September.

Kiosk: John emailed Kelly Babeon for an update but hasn’t heard back yet.

New Business

Invoices: A motion was made to send invoices for 2014 dues. The motion was approved by all. John will write the invoice. Matt will get the addresses to Mari Jo and Curtis.  Mari Jo will format the addresses. Curtis will link the addresses to the emails. Mari Jo will mail the invoices out by July 31 for fulfillment by August 31. A motion for the funding to be $250 for envelopes, stamps, ink, and paper was approved. A motion was made that invoices will also be sent on January 1 for payment by January 31. It was approved by all.

Block Party: Next block party is scheduled for Saturday, September 6, 2014. Plans will be made at the August 6 meeting.

Recreational Shooting: Forest Service is looking at creating new designated shooting areas in Clear Creek, Larimar, Gilpin, and Boulder Counties. In Clear Creek County they are developing a sight by Mount Evans. The county is also looking at other sites including a site near Dumont. A scoping letter will be sent out soon concerning Mount Evans recreational shooting. The forest service is also proposing to close 400,000 acres in the Arapahoe and Roosevelt forest to recreational shooting. Matt Taylor will send a link with the rules for recreational shooting to Curtis to be added onto the website.

Road Signs: Lance inquired about getting road signs, the county will only provide signs if it’s on a county road.
