New Business
- Road Maintenance – Road
maintenance is the responsibility of the homeowners for their section.
Please take an opportunity to meet your neighbors. Coordinating efforts
and equipment helps everyone be more efficient.
- Clear Creek County Road Base
Grant – 2016 application available for review and signature at the
information table.
- Petition to Clear Creek
County Road and Bridge to expand County maintenance road from Upper
York Gulch extension between overlooked way and the octopus which
already meets most of the specification requirements with the exception
of the level of incline near the intersection at Consolidated Ditch.
Clear Creek residents willing to support this initiative, please sign
petition available at the information table.
- Recreational Sport Shooting -
the GCCHLA Board, nor its members, will not take an official position,
or submit public comment, on behalf of the association on the
recreational sport shooting issue made and passed. All land &
homeowners are encouraged to submit their personal comments on this
issue.
- Annual Membership Dues - $50
annually pays for forest service special use permit that allows us to
maintain our roads and insurance policy. Emergency fund covers
everything else needed in case of major storms or road damage.
- Petition for Colorado Care to
be added to 2016 ballot. Initiative is for non government, nonprofit
healthcare payment system for all Colorado residents. Need 99,000
signatures by October. See Laurie Beckel with questions or for more
information.
- Clear Creek County master
plan being updated. Henderson Mine which provides 70% of tax revenue
for the county will be closing in 2025. Watch for notices related to
master planning meeting sessions. Please participate and provide
feedback.
- Questions related to
mailboxes on Fall River Road. No support from postal service. Only
other option to having your mailbox on Fall River is renting a PO Box
in town.
- 2016 Board Member elections.
Voting is for 11 board members. Additional are alternates. Elections
are open until Saturday, September 19. Officer elections to be held at
the next meeting (Q1 2016)
