New Business/Updates

  • Prior Minutes were accepted.
  • The county will not be  providing road base this year.
  • The Fall River bridge work will be commencing in a couple weeks.
  • The mailbox CBU (Cluster Box Units) has arrived at the post office and will be installed once mailboxes at the bottom have been removed.
  • Sport Shooting Updates
    • The county is still negotiating with the private range to see about expanding.
    • John did attend a meeting with Gilpin and they were not too interested in putting up anti-shooting signage.
    • Clear creek will have closures - end of 2019 is the best estimate at this point.
  • The HOA is considering putting up signage for purposes such as discouraging shooting in neighborhood areas and for traffic.
    • For the HOA to be involved with signage, the signs can't be contentious but should be more informative such as indicating that an area is a trailhead.
    • 8-10 signs could be purchased for the $500 we approved at a previous meeting.
    • Ideas were kicked around for signs including things like
      • Entering York Gulch Neighborhood
      • Only you can prevent washboards - Please use 4 wheel drive
    • Laurie felt that it would be important to convey that this is a neighborhood/community where people, children, dogs, horses may be on the road.
