Acceptance of Minutes.

No edits or clarifications were requested.  Courtney Donovan made a motion to accept minutes which was seconded and approved unanimously.  Curtis will post online.

Old Business

  • Road signs were brought up.  It was clarified that the HOA did not move forward with signage as the county Road and Bridge would not approve them and would take them down.
  • The county has a Wildfire Mitigation grant every Spring.  We missed the deadline for 2022 but will consider an application for 2023.  It requires considerable neighborhood willingness as there is a 50% match needed.  Courtney will talk with Sean (CC voluntary firefighter, Denver firefighter and paramedic) about mitigation ideas and then gauge neighbor support at the annual meeting.
    • Dave Andrews mentioned county signs need to be in Spanish also and will bring this up to county officials to see if this changes their views of us adding road signs.
  • The county also has a gravel/road base grant that we’ve done successfully in the past.  It was paused for the pandemic but Heather will see if this is coming back.

New Business:

  • Election of officers.  John and Dave stepped down from president and vice president. Nominations were made for all seats, seconded, and unanimously approved.

o    Laurie Beckel – president

o    Dave Andrews – vice president

o    Courtney Donovan – secretary

o    Tina DePoyster – treasurer

o    Curtis DePoyster – webmaster

  • YG Cleanup day on Saturday July 9th starting at 8:00 am with breakfast burritos and lunch provided.  Heather will organize with the county and Courtney will post on YG Facebook. $300 approved for breakfast and lunch.

Next Meeting

  • Annual BBQ on Saturday, September 10 at the firehouse with lunch at noon and meeting at 1:00.
